Due to the way the new webPOS website was designed and the technology used in it’s creation, there are a few points to be made to make sure the integration works as intended.
Important: Change IE settings
The most important point to be made is that your IE should not have any stored passwords for webPOS. If you do have stored passwords on IE, you can easily clear these out by following the steps below:
- Open the Windows Control Panel.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click Content.
- Under AutoComplete, click Settings.
- Click on Manage Passwords.
- Click on the Web Credentials Manager.
- Click on the drop down arrow by the web site you want to remove the password.
- Click on Remove.
- Go back to the auto complete settings and make sure that Forms and Usernames are unchecked.
- Click OK all the way out.
Important: IE should be prioritize
Another important point to be made is that, once IE has been triggered, you will see an IE icon blinking on your taskbar. Clicking on the blinking IE will open the IE window. You mustn’t click anywhere else until you have been logged into webPOS. After the login is complete, you can browse on other browsers or apps if you need but make sure IE is the main window open while it is logging in.
